 I earned my ACE personal fitness training certification in 2007. My knowledge of how the body works and my ability to design an effective workout program is the key to help you reach all your fitness goals. I am confident that anyone can look the way they want if they are motivated and disciplined enough to work hard and believe in themselves. My goal with every client will be to coach, encourage and give you all the tools necessary to succeed in all phases of fitness and exercise. Once you reach your goals we can implement a plan to keep you satisfied with your new look and help maintain a healthy cardio/respiratory system.

 I have had the privilege over the last 11 years to work in the fire service industry .With this profession comes the obvious task of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and achieving optimum fitness standards. In 2004 I had the opportunity to attend the University of Washington paramedic training program. Through this experience I studied very detailed information on human anatomy and physiology which gave me extended knowledge on how the body works and what it takes to live a long healthy life.

EXERCISE A CHANGE with A.C.E. certified personal fitness trainer Lisa Johnson.  I have had the privilege of working with Mountain View Fitness from the beginning, 8 years now.

After dealing with serious life threatening health issues which also caused me to undergo bi-lateral total knee replacements in 1997.  I exercised changes in my life which led me to my passion – fitness and nutrition.
 

I educated myself so I could rehabilitate my broken, weak body.  In the process, a fire was lit in me for wanting to help others create positive changes in their bodies as well.  I have developed a love for exercise and nutrition and empathy for the difficulty of changing one's lifestyle.

 

My goal for Mountain View Fitness members is to get you to your goals SAFELY, through proper exercise techniques and form, (with functional balance-challenging and posture-reforming routines), and a quality and sensible nutrition plan, with encouragement and fun along the way.

 

 No matter what your issues are, there is always a way to improve.  I know, I have been in the trenches myself.  I am living proof. Let me help you develop a new healthy lifestyle one step at a time.

Vonie Kalich, BS is a certified STOTT PILATES™/® instructor, as well as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer who has been teaching a wide variety of group fitness formats for 23 years. Vonie is a graduate from Portland State University with a BS in Physical Activity & Exercise, as well as a BS in Community Health.

Vonie's experience and education have provided her with many opportunities to work with a diverse population of clients, continually teaching her that a living a life designed around fitness is the key to optimal health and wellness. As a Pilate’s trainer, Vonie believes that Pilates challenges the body’s functional capacity for greater strength and flexibility which sets a solid foundation for quality of movement in everyday living. Vonie enjoys sharing with her clients and students her passion for health and fitness.
In her spare time, Vonie runs and enjoys riding her horse Royal.

Secrett enjoys spending most her days being active in various directions and multiple sports. During college to complete her nursing degree, she played women's soccer and competed in triathlons. She graduated with her RN degree in 2004 and became a soccer coach for her son's soccer teams throughout the year and current.

 

After nursing Secrett pursued her Wellness Coaching license thru ACSM and completed it in 2005. Secrett has enjoyed training various degrees of fitness levels based on individual goals and health needs. With her medical background and her love for fitness she has found passion in helping others succeed no matter what fitness level.

 

Secrett can be found in the cycling studio revving up the metabolism and making you sweat with interval and power training.
